Play and Learn Welcomes Foster Grandparents

Play and Learn is proud to have four amazing Foster Grandparents spending time with our children.  Ms. Carol, Ms. Pamela, Ms. Shirley and Ms. Kathleen have all recently joined the Play and Learn family at our Bryn Mawr, Fort Washington, Lansdale and Norristown centers. The Foster Grandparent Program provides volunteer opportunities for limited-income seniors over the age of 55 to help children with special needs.  They provide one-on-one academic and emotional support to children who have physical or developmental disabilities or are in need of additional assistance. Friends and Family Enjoy Friendly’s

Another great family night was enjoyed by all 11 Play & Learn centers as families gathered at a few local Friendly’s restaurants to appreciate the company of each other while enjoying a tasty meal.  This family night raised over $250 for the enrichment gym and music programs at our centers.  Great family night events like these are what allows Play & Learn to continue to provide the kids favorite activities.

We are also extremely proud to announce that our very own Judy Cooper was presented with the ... More

3rd Annual Trot for Tots

In addition to the races, families enjoyed food, face painting, games and activities.  It was a ton of fun and families couldn’t stop expressing their happiness.  Through registrations, sponsorships and contributions, the Trot for Tots raised $1,500 to support Play & Learn’s Granny Fund, ...
