Hatboro

About Our Center

Established in 1987 in the Hatboro Baptist Church, Play and Learn Hatboro is located in the heart of downtown Hatboro. Our center has 3 developmentally-appropriate play areas for the children. Inside you’ll find bright, cheerful classrooms for learning centers and play.

Hatboro & The Community

Play & Learn Hatboro partners with the Hatboro Baptist Church and St. John’s Lutheran Church to participate in the Helping Around Town initiative. This program collects “HAT” packs of food for those in need in the community. The Hatboro location is also within walking distance to two food pantries, located at the Lehman Church and St. John’s, and the library. This provides easy access to resources for families.

A message from the Interim Director: Kristi Bryson

Hi, I’m Kristi Bryson.  I’m a Regional Director with Play & Learn and am currently serving as the Interim Director at Hatboro.  I’ve been with Play & Learn for 23 years, having spent most of my time as the Director of the Lansdale Center before becoming a Regional Director in 2021.  I have a bachelor’s degree in communications with a minor in child development from Temple University, and a master’s degree in elementary education from Penn.  I received the PA Director’s Credential and have a PA private academic teaching certification for PK-4.

I have six children, all of whom attended Play & Learn, and now a granddaughter who attends.  I look forward to getting to know your family and caring for your children.
