Established in 1985 in the historic “Square Shadows” building, Play and Learn Blue Bell is set back from the road on private, wooded grounds. Our spacious, shaded playgrounds have separate areas for younger and older children, playing fields for sports and games, and paved surfaces for riding toys. Indoors you’ll find bright, cheerful classrooms for learning centers and play.
As part of our healthy living standards and alignment with the Let’s Move initiative, Play and Learn Blue Bell provides enrichment gym and music programs as part of the curriculum. Outside specialists in sports and music join us twice a month and always bring a smile to the children’s faces. In addition, supplemental activity and learning programs are offered to families throughout the year.
Play and Learn Blue Bell offers a full-day Kindergarten licensed by the Pennsylvania Department of Education. A small class size allows for children to spend more one on one time with the teacher and develop the appropriate skills necessary for their transition to public or private elementary school.
In conjunction with the Pennsylvania Department of Education and the Office of Child Development and Early Learning (OCDEL), Play and Learn Blue Bell offers the Pennsylvania Pre-K Counts program, a free pre-k program for eligible 3 and 4 year olds in Pennsylvania. Play and Learn Blue Bell is one of only a few early education centers in Montgomery County to offer this quality education program for families.
For your convenience, Play and Learn Blue Bell offers a low-cost lunch program. Play and Learn Blue Bell also accepts subsidized payment from Child Care Information Services (CCIS) and offers scholarship assistance through the Granny Scholarship Fund.
Our staff looks forward to providing your child with a supportive and nurturing environment and the best in quality child care and early education.
