Lansdale and Norristown Play & Learn Children Benefit from FREE Breakfast and Lunch

Play & Learn Early Childhood Education Centers are proud to announce that the Lansdale and Norristown Play & Learn Centers have been chosen to participate in the Summer Food Service Program.  The SFSP is a federally funded program operated nationally by the U.S. Department of Agriculture and administered in Pennsylvania by the Department of Education.

The Summer Food Service Program provides free meals to children from low income families.  Typically, children that come from low-income homes receive at least one-third of the nutrients they consume each day from school lunch.  The SFSP allows children to receive the same high quality nutrition during school vacations that they get in school cafeterias during the school year.

The Lansdale and Norristown Play & Learn Centers have been approved as feeding sites for the SFSP. In addition, there are many other sites in Montgomery County that offer free meals to children under 18 years of age.  To find a location near you, visit .  You may also call the National Hunger Hotline at 1-866-3-HUNGRY.
